iPads
UsingiPads
in class is not a bad idea. I personally think its a good idea because
then you don't have to write a whole bunch of notes and have your hand
cramp up. Whenever we use the laptops in Mr. Pasquales Civics class, he
lets me use the iPad. iPads are fun to use when we do webquests. They
are fun to use because you can zoom in close to the words to see them
better. Its also good to take notes on them because its more quiet to
type on the iPad then it is on the laptops. Mr. Pasquale has an app on
his iPads thats called EverNote and you type the notes on there and
whenever you are on a computer hooked up to a printer you can always
print them out. Some people have sloppy handwriting and sometimes they
can't always read what they write. iPads are a lot easier to use then
computers.

Shock and Awe
A few months ago I, along with a few other teachers, began to implement mobile technology into our curriculum. One of our teachers has had a mobile iPod cart for a year now, but this was the first time that we had gone school wide with mobile technology.
Our students were very excited to use the new technology once it arrived. However, only a few have really begun to put them to full use. Hopefully, they will teach their peers the best tips, tricks, and tools of the trade. This blog will serve as an outlet for these students to share their experiences this year in implementing mobile technology into our school
